Gilone - Fight [Paris Live Session]

 wrote this song on last October wondering what my friends, my family, people I meet when I travel and myself are fighting for in life. Everyone has a plan until they’ve been hit. By listening stories, I figured it out one thing connects us all : fighting for love.

‘FIGHT’ track was born like that. The song talks about the love for whom we exist, the one for whom we fight, the one who breaks the heart but shows us the inner love we are born with, SELF LOVE.

With my friend director @kate__cox, we got the idea to do a music live video together about it. We created the project in 2 weeks. She’s amazing. I choose to perform a different version of the original single. Slower, more intimate...Wearing my own jacket...Barefoot...alone... in the Parisian studio I recorded all my music with Yvan. This was shot in one continuous take - the camera dancing around me as a sang.

This is the first strong image I wanted to show people as an artist. Far from the stereotypical model that people have of myself.

It was my first live session. On January 2020. I was hospitalized the night before for a bad kidney infection. My flight got canceled because of a strike. I had to take a bus for 11h to arrive on stage in Paris for the live. I was tired, on morphine, and terrified to perform for the first time. I grabbed the mic and sing with love. For love. To love. Then, I became the happiest woman in the world.
