Unveiling “Danseuses” — A Raw, Sculptural Dialogue Between Movement and Fashion

Thrilled to reveal Danseuses, a striking collaboration between Denis Boulze and Charlotte Huguet—where dance and fashion collide in a visceral exploration of the body in motion. A sculptural choreography, captured in stark black and white, stripping everything down to raw form and fluidity. It’s a tension between power and surrender, where every movement speaks, every curve becomes an ephemeral sculpture.

With a portfolio spanning Vogue, Silhouette, Milk, and Dédicate, alongside campaigns for J.M. Weston and Hermès, Boulze and Huguet masterfully frame the body as a living sculpture, set against the intimacy of a secret stage. Shooting this project felt like a deep dive into physical storytelling—something that instantly brought me back to my work with Jack Davison, a defining voice in contemporary fashion photography.

Where Movement Becomes Memory — The Making of Danseuses

Alongside my friends Katharina, Leila, and Andy, we brought this vision to life—a space where the intimate and the theatrical merge, suspended in time. Denis Boulze, a familiar name in the pages of Vogue, Silhouette, Milk, and Dédicate, and a collaborator with J.M. Weston and Hermès, captures that fleeting moment when the body breaks free from its own frame—where motion becomes instinct, and instinct becomes art.

This project echoes my work with Jack Davison, where photography transforms into something tactile, something alive. Here, shadow and light do more than carve out a silhouette—they unearth a presence.
